In the auction house
Present your works of art and antiques directly to us at the auction house. You are welcome to make an appointment with the responsible expert.

We look forward to your inquiry by e-mail and by mail. If possible with photos, the dimensions, signature, dating and provenance and your contact details.

In order to make the request as convenient as possible for you, we offer the possibility of sending your artworks and antiques via our online form (German only).

What we sell succesfully for you

To our regional and worldwide clients we offer over 5000 positions from private property in three auctions annually.

Conditions of consignment in short

Seller's commission
We take your objects on commission and retain 20% (plus 19% VAT on the commission) of the proceeds in the event of a sale. For wider consignments by arrangement.

The items are insured through our art insurance; the insurance premium amounts to 0.5% of the agreed limit price.

Three to four weeks after the auction you will receive your settlement, provided we received the payment. 

If the items cannot be sold, no further costs arise, except insurance premium. Excluded are any transport costs or external expert's fees.

Artist resale rights
Pursuant § 26 UrhG (German Copyright Act), the seller is obliged to pay the resale artist rights tax on the sales proceeds of all original works of art and original photographic works whose creators died less than 70 years before completion of sale. The seller shall bear a charge amounting to:
• 2% of the hammer price from 400 to 50.000 €
• 1.5% of the hammer price from 50.001 to 200.000 €
